Jeffrey Bays

Jeffrey Bays, and active member of the Leather community and the Motorcycle community, was the victim of a tragic traffic accident on March 7, 2005 while riding his motorcycle on Paradise Road near Flamingo Road in Las Vegas. He was killed on impact when a Ford F-150 pickup truck made an illegal U-Turn directly into Jeffrey's lane.

During his life, Jeffrey was always in the forefront of activities in the Leather community. Aside from competing in and winning many leather contests, he established a leather organization known as TRIBE. In addition he was a member of Leather Uniform Club (LUC) of Las Vegas. As a member of Desert Brotherhood M.C., his enthusiasm for motorcycling was evident in his participation at all club activities.

As an active member of the community, he volunteered many hours at St. Therese Center in Henderson, caring for the needs of men, women and children affected by AIDS. His unending efforts  and compassion brought joy to the hearts of all those he touched.
